Scholarships now available for the 2022-2023 School Year - For Kind Coral Springs

Hi Kind Families,




We are in the thick of planning, writing curriculum, and building our local school in South Florida!


Due to a generous grant from Vela Education Fund we are able to offer some awesome scholarships for learners in our local Coral Springs, FL community. For Kind Coral Springs - Microschool for families who are local and headed into K-6th Grade

Our progressive and experiential, place-based microschool is launching in August 2022. We are excited to be able to offer almost full scholarships to continue to make our program as accessible, diverse, and community focused as possible. Our mission has always been to serve families from all different backgrounds and to give alternative options to students who benefit from hands on, project based, and Montessori style education.


Here are our scholarship levels

  • For our 2 day hybrid program, the scholarship reduces tuition from $7,000 for the year to $1,000 for the year


  • For our 3 day hybrid program, the scholarship reduces tuition from $11,000 for the year to $1,300 for the year


  • For our 5 day full time program, the scholarship reduces tuition from $14,000 for the year to $2,000 for the year.


To apply for our scholarships please first apply for our school. If you need a fee waiver for this, please let us know by emailing hello@kindacademy.org



To qualify for the scholarship, please take the following steps:

1. Apply to our school using the application. There is a $75 application fee. Please email us at hello@kindacademy.org if you need a fee waiver


2. Wait for an invitation to enroll


3. Apply for the Kind Schools Scholarship once you are invited to enroll



Priority is given to families who:

  • families who understand and value our philosophy, goals, and community as our classroom model.

  • Students who identify as female - our program is STEM based and hopes to diversify STEM career paths as well as our student body

  • Students of Color

  • Families who will have a positive contribution to our community of learners

  • Students who qualify for the Income Based Scholarship or are would come close to qualifying if they applied based on this chart

  • Families who can commit to completing our Inaugural school year of 2022-2023
